'Alaska From Scratch' Cookbook Launch & Signing
The Bear Tooth Theatrepub and Bear Tooth Grill are honored to host a book signing for the release of "The Alaska from Scratch Cookbook," by ADN columnist Maya Lani Wilson.
Join us on February 26th at the Grill from 4:00-6:30pm (books will be available for purchase). Many of our specials for February were inspired by the recipes in "The Alaska from Scratch Cookbook."
This cookbook feels like home. Maya's recipes are uniquely Alaskan while maintaining their relatability. Maya shares our love for food and seeking seasonality in a state with a very short growing season. As a transplant, Maya embraced Alaska and the fact that life doesn’t always come as easy here. She believes that food brings us together as a family and community, allowing us space to slow down and savor the moment.
