In this workshop, participants will handle and learn about the organ meats and ingredients that go into haggis. We will be using organs and a stomach from a local lamb, alongside Alaskan grains, plants, and herbs. The class will cook a haggis and a few side dishes that are typically served at a Robert Burns dinner. The class will make enough haggis for participants to taste and also take home a portion of haggis to share with their families. The class will also include an interactive discussion of using the whole animal. This class is the perfect opportunity for adventurous eaters!
