Canning Soups & Sauces with UAF Cooperative Extension
On busy days, with no energy or time to do anything but open jars for dinner, wouldn’t it be wonderful if the jars were filled with home-cooked soup, stew, or pasta sauce? You could grab a family-favorite from jars in the pantry, add bread and a salad, and have homemade dinner in minutes. In this class you will learn to safely pressure can several soup and sauce recipes. This class is for all experience levels.
NOTE:
A.) PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Registration, class and supply fees must be received as soon as possible and at the latest November 8, 2017.
B.) Student will need to purchase ahead of time and bring to the class: 12 – wide mouth, half-pint size jars.
(Class size is limited to 12 students.)
