Mushroom Walk

This class will start with some Q&A about mushrooms, and a basic overview of what sets fungi apart from animals and plants. Then we will put on our foraging hats and look for mushrooms along the trail, carefully picking a few specimens of each species we find.

This class is led by local mushroom expert Christin Anderson. Christin will help identify, sort, and tell stories about what you find, and finally teach you a few choice edibles and deadly poisonous mushrooms that are good to remember!

Great for beginners or anyone who wants to learn more about mushrooms!
