Save the Date! Sept. 18 Harvest Moon Local Food Festival
The largest end-of-season farmers market and food festival is happening at Soldotna Creek Park in Soldotna, Alaska, on September 18.

This end-of-season farmers market and food festival will provide families and individuals fresh food, lots of fun, and educational opportunities for one spectacular day on the Central Kenai Peninsula. Kenai Local Food Connection has organized and hosted Harvest Moon Local Food Week since 2013. Our first all-day festival, held Sept. 15, 2018, in Soldotna Creek Park, drew over 2000 people of all ages plus more than 30 vendors and food trucks. Happy vendors and festival-goers gave us rave reviews as well as valuable suggestions for improvement. The 2019 festival was another success. The festival features live music, free kids' activities, food demonstrations, a pie baking competition, the popular Fermentation Station, and all sorts of Alaska Grown and Made in Alaska food products.
