Wild Su Feast

Join the Susitna River Coalition for a delicious celebration and fundraiser at our 3rd Annual Wild Su Feast. If it grew, flew, walked, or swam in the Susitna Watershed - we want to taste it!

Wild food, bonfire, music, beer, wine and YOU judge the winners. Tickets are expected to sell out - and prices increase at the door.

6:00 - 6:30 :: Doors open and entries can be dropped off
6:30 - 8:00 :: Tables are revealed and the judging begins
8:00 - 8:30 :: Votes are tallied and an update from SRC
8:30 :: Winners announced and awards are given
8:30 - Close :: More eating, laughing, and celebrating our amazing watershed

There are four categories to enter with every dish highlighting a
category-specific wild ingredient.

Wild Su Feast Categories:
1. Grew
2. Flew
3. Walked
4. Swam

Looking for inspiration? These are a few of the amazing dishes that have been contenders in the past. Caribou Frankfurters, Blueberry Bear, Kahiltna Birch Syrup Ice Cream, Moose Pate, Smoked Salmon Queso Dip, Perok, Pickled Fiddlehead Ferns, Salmon Chowder, Caribou Pot Pie, Pork Sliders!

One dish entry equals one personal ticket. Entries need to be a prepared dish for 6-10 people that include at least one item from the category you're entering. Entries must be pre-registered through the "FREE ticket" option. A dish title and ingredient list will need to be displayed next to the dish. Dishes need to be dropped off no later than 6:15 on Saturday, November 2nd.

Items you grew/purchased from someone that grew it in the Susitna Watershed are welcome.
