Backpacker’s Oatmeal

Backpacker’s Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup instant oats
  • 2 tablespoons dried coconut milk
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • 3 tablespoons freeze dried blueberries or apples
  • Wild berries (blueberries, cranberries, cloudberries, etc.), as available

Instructions
 

  • Mix the above ingredients together in a bag. Alter the proportions to your desired taste. To make in the field, boil water. Add mix to a bowl and cover with 1 cup boiled water. Add more water to reach your desired consistency. Add berries if you have them.
