Alaska Cocktail

Make Julia O’Malley’s version of an Alaska Cocktail, developed when she was researching historic recipes for her book, The Whale and the Cupcake.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces Amalga gin
  • 1 ounce yellow chartreuse
  • 2 dashes Angostura orange bitters
  • Lemon twist

Instructions
 

  • Combine gin, chartreuse, and bitters in a shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled glass. Serve with a lemon twist.
