Sparkling Mint Lemonade
This time of year we’re looking to celebrate on the lighter side. Our refreshing sparkler is great for kids and adults alike. For the over-21 crowd, add an ounce of Anchorage Distillery Vodka to a pint of lemonade (go with a raspberry or blueberry version for another layer of flavor) for a low alcohol cocktail perfect for summertime imbibing.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces mint simple syrup
- 1 quart fresh lemonade
- 2 pints sparkling water
- Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish
Mint Simple Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1½ cups packed fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Combine mint simple syrup, lemonade, and sparkling water. Mix well and serve over ice garnished with a lemon slice and mint leaves. Optional: For a refreshing, low alcohol cocktail add 1 ounce Anchorage Distillery vodka per 12 - 14 ounces of lemonade. Mint Simple Syrup Combine sugar, water, and mint leaves in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
