Mike Mosesian stands in his greenhouse vineyard off Specking road in Anchorage. He says in the spring, he likes to make a family recipe for grape leaf rolls from the tender leaves. The vines are prolific and produce more fruit than they can hold, so excess is trimmed off during the growing season. Sugar content in the grapes has increased as the climate has warmed, Mosesian says. He will harvest earlier than usual this year.
