Ingredients
- Ice
- Brown sugar or cinnamon sugar for the rim
- 4 ounces apple cider or sparkling cider
- 1 ounce orange juice
- 1 ounce High Margarita, or to taste/tolerance
- Cinnamon stick, star anise, orange slices for garnish
Preparation
Dampen the rim of your glass with a little cider and let any excess drip off before dipping in brown sugar or cinnamon sugar mix. Fill the glass with ice and add orange juice and High Margarita. Stir gently and serve. Garnish. Enjoy.
Pear it up: make a pear margarita instead by using pear nectar instead of apple cider.
But make it cranberry: substitute cranberry juice in place of cider for a tart Alaska-inspired drink, and garnish with frozen wild cranberries.
Make Margaritas for a Crowd
To make a pitcher of Margarita Mocktails: Combine ¾ cup lime juice (freshly squeezed is best!), ½ cup orange juice, 4–8 teaspoons agave nectar, and a large handful of ice in a large pitcher and stir vigorously for 15 seconds. Add High Margarita to taste or tolerance. Quickly stir in 1 1⁄3 cups sparkling water. Serve in salt-rimmed glasses with a wedge of lime. Cheers!
Note: High Margarita is crafted with a cannabis nano-emulsion, therefore the THC never falls out of suspension and the onset takes only 15 minutes. Many traditional fat-based edibles (coconut oil, butter, etc.…) can take anywhere from 45–90 minutes to feel. Use the margarita mocktail to create your drinks and then add the Lady Gray High Margarita in THC levels you’re comfortable with.
