Fly to Camp Denali for an Exclusive Park Experience

Fin Denali National Park, an “oasis of hospitality in the tundra” has e with commanding views of Denali and ten other peaks. At our 67-homestead, nineteen elegant, rustic log and frame cabins await guests m Wonder Lake. Back in 1951, it was the stupendous view, not gold, founders in the Kantishna Hills.

In late August 2021, the Denali Park Road became impassable at its midpoint due to a fast-moving rock glacier. Road access to Camp Denali ceased, and we made an exciting shift to continue to welcome travelers by air while a bridge, targeted for completion in 2027, gets built.

Your wilderness journey begins with a 55-minute scenic flight from the entrance of Denali National Park, the perfect preface to your immersive visit. From the moment you land for a stay of three or four nights, you are welcomed into a community of talented, genuine, hospitable people who consider it a privilege to live, work, and share this singular place. You’ll spend days taking in the varied landscapes of Denali—by hiking boot, bicycle, or canoe—and venturing back along the road by van to explore the wilderness and wildlife of this magnificent National Park.

Our mission of stewardship goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to sustainability. We recently completed a solar energy installation that powers 96% of the electrical needs for our miniature village of 30 staff and up to 24 guests. Our kitchen produces artful, wholesome, and delicious meals, with as many Alaska meats and fish, produce and grains as possible, and salad greens and herbs grown on-site. In 2019, almost half of our total purchased foods were grown, raised, or harvested in-state. Our bakery turns out all our own artisan breads, pastries, and desserts, incorporating the tundra’s bounty of berries in-season.

The silver lining of our newfound isolation? The opportunity to share the heart of Denali National Park almost exclusively with no one else but our guests. Thanks to Camp Denali’s history and stewardship legacy, we are unique among Denali operators for our ability to travel those miles inside the closed section of the Park Road. We’re free to hike the backcountry, observe animals, and savor life in the wild. Please join us.
