Mary Odden

Mary Odden spent most of the last forty years living and working in far-flung Alaska—on wildfires, on cabins and houses with husband Jim, on articles and books (her own and others’), on teaching. Mostly Water gathers her thoughts and edibles from all over this personal geography. She lives in Nelchina.
