Addie Camp
Addie Camp offers one of Soldotna’s newest dining experiences, the chance to eat with aboard a 1913 wooden rail car, or enjoy their “choo choo with a view” from our second story dining space. Addie Camp, named after a mining camp in South Dakota, opened in December 2018, and features fresh, locally-sourced ingredients year-round, including produce from the onsite hydroponic farm. Their young, passionate chefs have created a unique menu specializing in fresh fish and local oysters, homemade pasta and bread, and dishes made from scratch with a contemporary flair. They also offer Alaskan beers on tap and premium wine, along with local kombucha and hard cider.
Whether you’re looking for an intimate date night in the rail car, or celebrating a special occasion with a big group, they are happy to accommodate parties large or small. During our epic summers, take a seat on the patio and see for yourself why Alaska is named the “Land of the Midnight Sun!” Whether local, visiting, or home for the summer, Addie Camp is sure to tempt your taste buds, while giving you a chance to be a part of this railcar’s 100+ year history.
