Rob Roy Cocktail

This one features the Yukon’s favorite single malt, Two Brewers Whisky, the 42nd and 43rd iterations of which were released this December. So far it’s only available in Canada, so when you’re next passing through Whitehorse, be sure to try some.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: Makes 1 Cocktail
  • 2 ounces Two Brewers Whisky, any iteration (Editors’ note: if you can’t source Two Brewers from the Yukon, substitute Amalga Distillery’s Solstice Solera or your favorite single malt)
  • ¾ ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Free Pour Jenny’s Solstice Bitters Amarena cherries in syrup, or homemade Bourbon Cherries (recipe above)

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except cherry in a mixing glass with ice, stir several times. Strain into a coupe, or serve over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with cherry.
