Introducing Flamingo Lounge

At the end of the Seward Highway, we are breathing new life into the old Thorn’s Showcase Lounge. Here, respect for the craft comes foremost while pretentiousness is checked at the door. It doesn’t matter if you have a black AMEX card or 20 bucks burning a hole in your pocket—we have a seat for you.

We set out to prove that being creative and honoring ingredients are not a matter of geography; they’re a matter of intention, ingenuity, and persistence. The proof is in the quality we aim to purvey, even at the end of the road system.

We’re social critters, and booze provides a canvas for expression. We are admirers, technicians, explorers, storytellers—basically an ugly public argument between Hunter S. Thompson and Ernest Hemingway. We have a lot of emotions. And we have a lot to say.

The Heated Hare encapsulates everything we do here—reverence and bastardization. Crafted by our bar manager Ettore Chiappa, this drink mandates fresh ingredients. Each brings out very different complexities of our delicate and often misunderstood good friend—tequila.
