Kenai Kombucha owners Devon and Brian Gonzalez have been busy the past year serving up fresh, healthy, and locally brewed kombucha blended from organic sugar and loose leaf teas in their new taproom. When COVID-19 began to impact the nation and Alaska, this woman-owned and veteran-owned small business decided to switch to an online and phone ordering system with no-contact curbside pickup. Customers were grateful. With local support, Kenai Kombucha has been able to stay open and remain a delicious part of the Kenai’s business community.

Proudly poured at St. Elias and Kenai River Brewing Company, Kenai Kombucha has established a refreshing name for themselves on the Kenai Peninsula. Strong partnerships with local eateries and loyal customers have made a profound difference for the business. Though they had been anticipating a busy tourist season, the pandemic is expected to slow the typical hustle and bustle, and the owners are grateful for the community support.

Look for Kenai Kombucha at the Wednesday Market at Soldotna Creek Park and for the taproom to remain open at a smaller capacity during the week. Connect at www.kenaikombucha.com and on Facebook and Instagram.
